Vote for

America's Favorite Farmers' Market

We know that shopping at a public farmers market is one of the best ways to support farms, farmers, communities, and local economies, just by filling-up on delicious and fresh food. That is why American Farmland Trust is holding the first ever America’s Favorite Farmers Markets contest.

Please support the Staunton/Augusta Farmers' Market and local agriculture by casting your vote!

NOTICE: Governor Tim Kaine and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services have issued a challenge to all Virginians to eat local. In addition, VDACS is asking for original recipes used to prepare locally grown, processed and produced products and a photo of the prepared product and/or the person who prepared it. These will be posted at www.virginiagrown.com. Winners will be chosen in two categories - one for adults and one for children 12 years of age or younger - by random drawing to receive a Virginia Grown prize package.
